in this govt college, the cost of the study is very huge. I did not expect this huge amount of cost to study. sem fees are about 9000 and also hostel fees are 16000. there is not any financial support for the case study

The overall information of Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees for the non-core department i.e. CSE, ECE is 62k for 4 years and 1lakh for the IT department and the core department 40k. Moreover, it is easy to get the SVMCM scholarship if he or she gets the college in the same year as passing the board exam. For the droppers to get the scholarship is quite difficult. Moreover, the Full Fee Waiver scholarship is also given to students who don't get any scholarship and have a poor family background the college authority.
