Candidates can fill the application form in online and offline mode.
For B.Tech admission, candidates should have passed 10+2 with 45% marks from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English as one of the subjects.
Admission is based on merit in CEE of Assam or valid rank in JEE Main.
Candidates who don’t appear in either Assam CEE or JEE Main will be required to appear in a test conducted by SITM.
Diploma in the relevant Engineering branch with 60% marks is required to be eligible for B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission.
Admission in Lateral Entry is done on the basis of a valid rank in Assam Joint Lateral Entrance Examination (JLEE) conducted by DTE, Assam.
Selection is also done on the basis of an entrance examination conducted by SITM.

SITM Guwahati Assam B.Tech Admission 2023

Scholar's Institute of Technology and Management offers B.Tech and Lateral Entry in B.Tech in 5 specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply is 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as one of the subjects. For Lateral Entry admission, a Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks is required to be eligible.

Admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of a valid score in Assam CEE or JEE Main. Candidates who do not appear in either of these two examinations will be required to appear in a test conducted by SITM.

Key Points:

65% of the total seats in a branch will be filled through the CEE Assam of Assam with the following reservations (as per the reservation policy of Govt. of Assam)
1. SC - 7%
2. ST (P) - 10%
3. ST (H) - 5%
4. OBC/MOBC- 15%
20% of the seats will be filled through JEE Main.
Candidates can also get admitted in SITM on the spot in the Counseling Session conducted by DTE, Assam after CEE result.
Diploma holders who are from institutes other than those under State Council for Technical Education must submit a certificate of recognition of the institutes.
Candidates must be 17 years of age and not more than 21 years at the time of admission.
