The Mahatma Gandhi Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1969. It was established by Vichar Vikas Mandal to impart higher education to students of the rural area and to provide educational facilities suitable to achieve agricultural & industrial development.  The institute offers several post graduate and graduate courses in the field of arts, science and commerce to the students. In addition it also provides certificate, diploma & advanced diploma programs in Horticulture and Farming of Medicinal Plants, Digital Electronics under the U.G.C. Career Oriented Courses program. The college has state of art infrastructure with all required and essential amenities. The institute has experienced and qualified faculty for the students.
