SGGSCC Admission 2024: Courses, Cutoff, Eligibility, Application Process, Dates
Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce admissions 2023 for UG and PG programs will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores which are conducted by NTA. Admissions to UG courses will be based on CUET UG marks followed by the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) while admission to PG courses will be done through the CUET PG examination. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions is scrapped for now and is replaced by CUET PG from the academic year 2023.
Once the CUET results are out, eligible candidates for both UG and PG programs need to register themselves on Delhi University’s admission portal- admission.uod.ac.in.Candidates will then be required to fill in the preference for program and college for seat allocation. Seat Allocation for UG courses will be done through the CSAS portal while PG selections will be based on the merit list released for both merit and entrance-based admissions.
For PG admissions, 50% of the total seats will be allocated based on the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination. The merit-based alternative is only for students who hold a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University. The remaining half of the total seas will be provided based on the candidate’s rank in the CUET PG exam.

SGGSCC offers UG courses in Arts, Science, Commerce & Management Streams. UG curriculums are provided in various specializations. The duration of the undergraduate courses are 3 years. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College UG Selection Process
Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:
- Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language.
- Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects.
- Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College PG Admission 2023
SGGSCC offers 3 courses at PG level. The courses are M.Com, PGDIM & DBJCC. All the courses are offered under Commerce, Journalism & Marketing departments. The courses are offered for the duration of 2 years. To be eligible for the PG curriculum, students must pass graduation from a recognized board. Selection will be granted for the PGDIM & DBJCC, on the basis of qualified score in the entrance examination conducted by the university followed by Group Discussion & Interview. For the M.Com course, students need to go through the CUET PG entrance examination.

- For the M.Com course, candidates must pass a B.Com course from a recognized university.
- For PGDIM & DBJCC, students need to pass graduation with 50% marks in aggregate with any disciplines from a recognized university.

- Admission is granted on the basis of merit and valid CUET PG scores.
- As per DU guidelines students who have completed their Graduation from any of the DU affiliated colleges and are seeking for PG admission in the relevant field can opt for merit based admission.
- Candidates Graduating from different universities or with a Bachelor’s degree in different subjects, must qualify the CUET PG.
- Students will be shortlisted on the basis of CUET PG scores for M.Com course.
- Selection will be granted for PGDIM & DBJCC, on the basis of valid scores secured in the entrance exam conducted by the university and followed by Interview & Group Discussion.
Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023
Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:
Phase 1: CSAS Application Form
- Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
- ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.
Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences
- Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
- After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.
Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission
- Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted.
- Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
- Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
- Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.

DU UG admission 2023 will begin soon. Delhi University will conduct admission to all UG courses based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET, conducted by NTA. Registrations for CUET UG 2023 have been reopened and the last date to submit the application form is April 11, 2023. The admission process includes three phases, in the first phase aspirants are required to fill the CSAS portal by visiting the official website – admission.uod.ac.in. Phase 2 includes filling out programs and college preferences and seat allotment will be done in the third phase. The university will be conducting multiple rounds of seat allocation based on the colleges and programs combination filled by students. Selected candidates then can choose to accept/freeze or upgrade their seats by the given date. Upon acceptance of a seat, the respective college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the fee payment. Selection for Sports and Extracurricular Activities (ECA) candidates will be made on the basis of combined score of CUET (25%) and performance test (75%).
