What students say about St Aloysius College

Likes

  • Faculties are very awesome; they keep an eye on every student to ensure they are present in class at the designated timings. The curriculum also updates itself regularly, catering to the needs of the students from one semester to another.
  • Yaa, as I said, St. Aloysius College is one of the best, so they also provide internships.
  • The placement is very good. There will be many companies coming for placement, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many more.
  • There are many good scholarships and loans available to faculty, but they are only disclosed to the good students after the results.
  • Well, there was no gender gap in either the faculty or the student body, so there was no problem in that regard. There were numerous sports, inter-college competitions, and district-wide participations on a regular basis. Activities such as NSS and NCC were also available, making it a very rewarding experience.
  • I havent opted for any hostel, but the hostel facility is also available in our college.
  • It is one of the best colleges in Jabalpur. It has lots of facilities.

Dislike

  • Actually, this is one of the cons of our college: there is no curriculum or academic activities. Basically, in our course, there are not many activities or events compared to other courses in our college.
  • I dont have any; our college doesnt provide any internships. However, I am definitely doing internships with the help of other online platforms.
  • The only thing is that I feel bad about my college because last year 4-5 companies came, but they only chose 20-25 students, which is not good for us.
  • Scholarships are provided to students who are below the poverty line and to Christian students. The scholarship is given to students from families with very low incomes who are unable to pay.
  • Only the bad thing was the timing of college to attend. There is no perfect match in classes; some classes were missed due to this, and some classes are scheduled after lunch. As a result, students lost their interest in required subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam is not that difficult you can easily pass on that if you study well. And the teachers are so good and supportive. A little bit strict but all over the teacher is so good. Qualifications of the teachers are mostly Phd professors.

Remarks:

The Admission process was merit-based direct admission. No exam is required for this course. You can find the admission form on their college website. And I think no reservation criteria are in this course or you can check on their website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BBA because I wanted to do MBA after graduation so BBA was the perfect choice for me. There was a total of 5-8 teachers in our department and no. Of students, 150approx is divided into two sections. The faculty is very well educated and professional in their teaching approx except for 1 or 2 teachers just like any other institute. The exams are conducted twice a year total of 6 exams in 3 years and they are conducted from time to time.

Remarks:

The course eligibility is 12th from any recognised board in any subject. You can find the application forms both online (on the college's website) and offline from the office. The admission process is quite smooth and student-friendly.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester students become eligible for campus placement. The companies which visited to the college are ICICI bank not so many companies visited and even no offers.

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course was to have an average percentage of 50. We can find the application form directly from the college and also, online. I did not avail myself of any reservation benefits. I want the paper works to be reduced so that we can save time and effort.

Placement Experience:

At the time of the 6th sem students are eligible for placements as placements are very low so no one depends on it, companies kike LIC, BAJAJ FIANCE, and COLGATE Will come for placement and the average package will be around 3 lakhs, currently, I m preparing for govt jobs and planning to do MBA if possible

Remarks:

The admission process is very fast, well-behaved people, the staff is good, the faculty is mostly phd holders with very good teaching experience, culture and campus are also very decent and beautiful, and fees are very affordable as the quality of teaching is the very good best college in Jabalpur for the bachelor courses
