St Bede’s college in Shimla was set up in 1904 as a teacher training institute for Christian girls. After India got independence, St Bede’s college was opened up for students from other faiths as well. A new block was subsequently built by the college to have more classrooms and a library. Now, it is NAAC A+ accredited.
