What students say about St John's College

Likes

  • As a commerce student, BCom is a very good option in my point of view.
  • Many companies belong to Agra - banks, insurance companies, and NGOs came for an internship experience, and the stipend offered was a good amount at that time - 8000/- PM.
  • In BCom, after 3 years, you can become eligible for a placement if you have the necessary skills, but the salary package is not particularly good.
  • The scholarship option is also available and given to help repayable fee options for students. It provides the best services for my college and helps students earn fees. It is provided by the government to help provide assistance.
  • St. Johns is the best in terms of infrastructure not only in Agra but also in India. It is one of the best colleges in terms of infrastructure.
  • I do not reside in any hostel as my hometown is Agra. If I take a hostel here, I think a nice college is St. Johns, which is best for BCom. So, I recommend it as the best college for everything.
  • My college was good, and I had a great experience there, but it still lacks some facilities.

Dislike

  • There is no placement opportunity in my college; it is only 1% of opportunities that also come from alumni of the college. This is due to the bad reputation of the college, and locally, people refer to it as a rowdy college.
  • We do not receive any such treatment because the college is private, and we hope that it will grow in the future and assist financially disadvantaged students.
  • It gives preference to sports and extracurricular activities, especially when there is an upcoming event. The college is so lit up with it. The bad thing is the food quality, which is really bad and costly too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a graduate with B.com, master in commerce is always a better option. Faculty-student ratio is around 1:30 i.e. fair enough. All the faculty is qualified and experienced. According to New education policy semester wise exams are conducted and it's really easy to pass the exams.

Remarks:

First of all, you have to get registered yourself at the university and after that, you have to fill out the college forms provided on the college website with the 250 application fee and then wait for the final list. That's it.
