St Thomas College located in a central area in Thrissur, is the first Roman Catholic College in the state of Kerala and home to over 3000 students. Its unique vision of combining knowledge, know-how, coupled with wisdom and character development distinguishes it from the other colleges. The aim is to nurture students with relative knowledge that they can draw upon to generalise experiences, prioritising tasks and taking decisions alongside constructing motivated, honest individuals. It has quickly grown from a second graded college by NAAC to a first-grade college. In 2002, the portals of the college were opened to women. It enjoys the status of being one of the largest and most reputed Arts and Science College in Kerala.
