Likes
- In my opinion, the Geography Department is the best department in St. Xaviers College, Ranchi. We have access to all the facilities such as a lab, a football ground, table tennis, basketball court, cafeteria, church, etc.
- The Xavier fest was good when it was held, and all the programs, competitions, and plays were good.
- Firstly, it is very good for placements as I just got placed in one of the best companies.
- I opted for a scholarship and loan for the course, and it was an excellent opportunity to be a part of it.
- The college promotes every activity within the campus, and the labs are also of high quality.
- The infrastructure of the college is good with three canteens, one gymnasium, and a church where one can spend time.
- It drove me to take admission because its the best college in my hometown. The thing that I like about this college is the faculties and opportunities. I opted for this course because it is the best pre-course for an MBA.
Dislike
- As we specialize in banking and insurance, no companies from the banking or insurance sector came to offer internships to the students.
- As it is a graduation college, students do not get placed directly from here. However, when it comes to stipends, the needy students receive them. By needy, I mean students who belong to the SC/ST category and are financially disadvantaged, unlike B.
- The fees for vocational courses are very expensive compared to other courses, and every semester they charge 700rs in the name of exam fees. Its totally unfair to charge such high college fees when they already charge for exam fees.
- Hostels here are all private hostels because the college hasnt provided any hostel facilities for girls.
- The alumni network of the college is not very strong, and it should be regularly regulated and organized.

Placement Experience:
From semester 5 onwards students are encouraged to sit for placement opportunities. Companies like Deloitte, Wipro, TCS and many others usually visit the campus. The percentage of students getting placed is less because students mostly prefer to go for masters after the completion of this course to have an upper hand over getting a job in the industry. Similarly, I have also planned to go for the masters after the completion of this course.
Remarks:
The eligibility criteria are that you must have scored 50% in aggregate having maths as a subject with at least 45% marks in your intermediate exam. The details of the application form, fees and dates are published on the official site of the college itself i.e. sxcran.org. There is no such reservation benefit here. The process is unbiased.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Faculty members of our department were really helpful, and hardworking 24*7 and available for their students. Sometimes I feel blessed for having a such good teacher in my college journey. They make our journey so much easy and more comfortable.

I Choose This Course Because I Love The Nature And Want To Know About The Plants and How It Works. All The Faculty Members Are Very Good All Of Thrm Are Very Friendly Always Help And Guide Us And Thy Are Always Available When You Need Them. Exams Are Not Difficult The Way Teachers Taught Us And Guide Us Every Thing Seems Easy And interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:
BBA is the management course were teacher teaching was very good because they know what are they doing. In one we have almost 60 students in one class . The college faculty was good and nice and the teacher was good enough to teach and they are good teachers. The exam were held in every 6 months of circle and it very to pass the exam if you are stud very well.
Remarks:
First all we fill the entrance exam form for addmitions through college portal than they select application . After the selection of applications they will relies the list of those of those students who will pass the entrance exam than they take interview and than you will fill the admission form for college 80% cut off.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose a bachelor of commerce (accounts). To brief about faculty was nice Faculty qualify up to master degree and the method of teaching of all the teachers was nice. They timely take their exams. It became difficult to pass when you do not study properly.
Remarks:
The eligibility of the course was to get 50% of class 12 On the internet you can find the application form, the application fees was 800 ST/SC get reservation benefits on these two colleges. For ST/SC 45% aggregate marks asking for applied on these colleges
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is of 3 years and is divided into 6 semesters. The ratio of faculty is good with respect to students. The faculties of our college are highly qualified and well educated from IIMs, IIT etc. The teaching technique of the professors is very good because they can deliver their topic without using pen and board. The semester exams are conducted every 6 months and the mid-semester is conducted every 3 months

Here is the admission process below First, we need to fill application form for the entrance exam which is conducted by the college then we get the notifications from the college that we got selected for the entrance exam. The result of shortlisted students in the entrance exam are then allowed to get admission
