YD Post Graduation College, Lakhimpur Kheri was established in 1949 by Raja Yuveraj Dutta Singhji of Oel. It is the oldest and largest co-educational institution of higher education in Kheri District. It is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers regular programs studies in Arts, Science, Commerce and Teacher- Education both at Graduate and Post -Graduate level.

The objectives of the college is to provide quality higher education at the most affordable fees to the youth of this educationally backward district so that they get empowered and contribute in nation growth.
