(Group A- NCERT approved Physics, Chemistry Maths syllabus; Group B- NCERT approved Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus).
  • 50% seats for the D.Pharm course are filled on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Rest of the 50% seats are filled by management quota.
  • Candidates applying for the M.Pharm course must obtain at least 50% marks in B.Pharm examination conducted by an institute affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) or any other university exam recognized by the KUHS.

SJCP offers M.Pharm which is of two-year period and included specializations such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology. Candidates must possess B.Pharm degree with least 50% marks from an institute affiliated to KUHS. Applicants who have studied in states other than Kerala must pass a qualifying exam recognized by KUHS.

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Pharm course must send their applications by filling out an application form obtained from the college campus or through post. A merit list is released by the college based on the marks secured by the applicants in B.Pharm examination. Candidates from outside the state can also specify marks obtained in GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test). St. Joseph’s College of Pharmacy offers AICTE approved D.Pharm course completed for a period of two-year. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examinations conducted by a recognized HS board or university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Maths as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply. Those who have completed a vocational course (V.H.S.E) of Kerala post 1994-95 with Group A (NCERT approved Physics, Chemistry and Maths syllabus) and Group B (NCERT approved Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus) subjects can also apply for the D.Pharm course.

Admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination. 50% of seats available for the D.Pharm program are filled by management quota.
