Dravidian University Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) Admission 2024: Admission Dates, Application process
Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Dravidian University was established in 2008. DDE is located at Kuppam in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. DDE offers UG, PG and Diploma courses in various disciplines.
- DDE offers BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc and BCA at UG level. Each course at UG level is of 3 years duration except B.Lib/B.I.Sc which is of 1-year duration.
- Under PG programs, DDE offers courses such as MA, M.Sc, MBA, M.Com, MCA and M.Lib.I.Sc.
- DDE also offers PG Diploma of 1-year duration in various specializations.
- Application form can be downloaded from the official website of the DDE.
- The application form along with prospectus can also be obtained from the office of DDE Dravidian University or from the Study Centers of DDE.
- Application fee of INR 350 can be paid in the form of DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of, Director, DDE, Dravidian University, payable at Kuppam.
- For admission to courses under UG program, the candidate should be at least 18 years of age and should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- Candidates who do not possess any formal qualification have to appear for Eligibility test conducted by the state university.
- For admissions to courses under PG program, the candidate should have done graduation in the respective discipline.
- For PG Diploma program, candidate should have done graduation in any discipline.
- Selection is based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying exam.
Dravidian University, DDE UG Admission 2023: B.A, B.Sc, B.Com & BBA
Dravidian University, Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) offers direct admission to students in UG courses. For those candidates who do not have any formal education, they should pass eligibility test conducted by the state university.
All the courses under BA program are available in both Telugu and English medium. Also, B.Com (Gen) and B.Sc (Botany/Zoology/Chemistry) are available in English and Telugu medium.

Key points regarding admission:
- For UG programs, direct admission is offered by the DDE. Candidates seeking admissions should apply along with the necessary documents before April 11.
- Candidates who do not have any formal education should pass the eligibility test of the State University.
- Courses other than B.A, B.Com (Gen) and B.Sc (Botany/Zoology/Chemistry) are available in only English medium.
Dravidian University, DDE PG Admission 2023: M.A, M.Com, MBA, MCA & M.Sc
Admissions to PG programs are done directly. Candidates need to fill the application form and send it along with necessary documents to the DDE or any of its Study Centers.
- For M.Sc/MA programs, candidates should have done Bachelor’s degree in the respective discipline.
- Courses in MA are available in both Telugu and English medium.
- Candidates with B.L.I.Sc. degree are eligible to apply for M.Li.Sc.

Important points regarding admission:
- Admissions are granted on first come first serve basis followed by calculation of marks in the qualifying examination.
- Courses other than M.A are available in English medium only.

Admissions to PG Diploma programs are done directly. Candidates need to fill the application form and send it along with necessary documents.
- Applications can either be downloaded from the official website or can be obtained from the DDE or its study centers.
- Both the diploma programs are available in English medium only.
