Its all about cusat

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are very good at CUSAT. The best package for B. Tech Computer Science is 7.5 Lakh per annum. Many great companies come here for hiring and pre-placement guidelines are also given. There are many internship opportunities also.

Internships Opportunities:

CUSAT provides a minimum one-month gap for doing internships. For us, it was during the 4th semester and 6th semesters. We have official groups for internship details and information. Many companies provide internship opportunities.

After the 6th semester, Students are eligible for campus placement. Around 20-40 company visits .like Cisco, TCS, Nokia, etc. The number of offers that can be made is one in the dream category and another in the general category. The Dream threshold is 6 lakh.

CUSAT,The Heaven You Can Wish For

Placement Experience:

Onward the 6th sem, Companies arrive for placements. CISCO,Amazon,TCS,Infosys. 25LPA is the highest package offered by CISCO and the average package is about 4LPA. Most of the year there is 100% placement. I'm Looking for a dream placement of min 15LPA else I would try to crack GATE.

Internships Opportunities:

I have applied for many off-campus internships and got something around 10K per month and there are many other students who have achieved around 15K per month. I have worked as FullStack Developer and later on moved on to Machine Learning.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards there is Placement in the college there are a lot of companies visiting colleges for placement such as TCS Cisco and Wipro most of the students are placed with an annual average salary of 8 LPA and which tops about 40 lakh per Annum.

Internships Opportunities:

There are a lot of Internship opportunities for students studying in the 7th and 6th semesters. Most of the presidents are getting internships in high-value companies such as Amazon Wipro etc. Some of the students also got internships in foreign countries such as Japan, the US.

If you want a college with superb campus culture go for it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, you can opt for placement interviews here. Also, many MNCs including tata,l&b, TCS, oracle, Vedanta, Gail, Indian oil, federal bank, and a lot more come here for recruitment. The highest lpa currently is 40 lakhs. Overall it has a placement percentage above 60 to 70%.

Internships Opportunities:

You will get opportunities with tech companies and others for internships. I currently h have not updated for a paid internship. They will help you in brushing up on your skills in various fields. I was a campus ambassador intern for Internshala.

Ques. Is there any difference in placements offered by CUCEK and SOE CUSAT?

A few of my friends are studying in both colleges and there is absolutely no difference – not even a minute one between the two colleges. Placements are the same and in fact, more students are also getting placed from CUCEK as per what recent surveys have concluded. Additionally, the placement cell for both these colleges is the same and is situated on the main campus. Probably the only thing that might cause a little bit of hindrance is travel. You might have to travel to the SOE campus every time a company is visiting for hiring or placing students. You will have to go to Ernakulam from Alleppy which is a good 2-hour drive by road. This might pose as a minor set back but the college arranges for this transport so eventually, you will not have any issues. Coming to placements at CUSAT, about 60 different companies visit the campus for the recruitment drive. So, you will have a number of options to look forward to when you begin applying. As of 2020, about 300 offers were made in the college with the highest CTC of INR 15 LPA and an average CTC of INR 4.7 LPA. The number of placements being offered has increased over the past three years. Some of the major companies that recruit students include Cisco, TCS, L&T, Tata Steel, and Vedanta. If placement is your primary concern at CUCEK or CUSAT, you do not need to be worried. You will be a student of a really good university so your future will definitely be bright....Read more

Ques. How are the placements for Btech in fire and safety at SOE CUSAT?

SOE CUSAT placements are good for BTech in Fire and Safety. Almost every student from the branch gets placed with decent salary packages. The highest CTC offered this year to the student of this branch is around INR 12 LPA and the lowest CTC offered is INR 4 LPA. SOE CUSAT placements are pretty good for CSE. The placement rate for the branch is around 100%. In the campus placement drive, CSE, and IT branch students bag the highest number of placements with cushy salary packages. The average CTC offered for CSE is around INR 5 LPA.
