Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanad(CUCEK) is a government college established in October 1999. The college is affiliated with Cochin University of Science and Technology Kuttanad and also approved by AICTE. It provides B.Tech in 6 major branches of Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Civil ,and Electronics along with a post-graduate program, Masters of Computer Application(MCA).

Admission are granted on the merit of the entrance exam at Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT). Companies such as Amazon, Wipro, Oracle, TCS, TCL, Wipro, IBM, Mu Sigma visit the college for placement drive and each company has their own criteria for selecting the students.

  • For admission in B.TECH and MCA courses, the students must clear the CUSATCAT exam conducted every year through Cochin University of Science and Technology(CUSAT).
  •  For the B.TECH course the students need to full fill the following criteria: 
  • Candidates must pass 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as primary subjects.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in Mathematics. + KEAM Score.
  • Diploma or Vocational completed students are not eligible to appear for CUSAT CAT
  • For the MCA course, the eligibility criteria is a Graduate degree with 60% and marks in CUSAT CAT.
