The Emerald Heights College for Women was founded in the year 1969. The women college is located in “The Queen of Hill Station”, in the tri – junction of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala in a friendly and calm surrounding.

The college is only for women and started with the motto to provide assistant service to the frugal backward women and the nomadic communities by offering quality education. Previous year, college has celebrated the “Golden Jubilee” after successful completion of the milestone of 50 years.

It offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, and BCA programs at UG level. And MA, M.Com, M.Sc. programs at PG level. Candidates with valid marks in the last qualifying examination can apply online for the courses.

Admission will be based on merit in the entrance exam conducted by the university.

The college has seen significant changes, initiated new innovative programmes and world class education facilities. The college has been re – established by NAAC with B++ grade. Currently the college is controlled by The Nilgiri Education Society under the guidance of our honourable secretary S. Motilal Kataria.
