Established in 1987, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and affiliated to Bharathiar University. The college was Re-Accredited with 'A+' Grade by NAAC and an ISO 9001: 2000 certified institution.

SRCAS UG Admission 2023

The institute offers B.A., BBA, B.Com., BCA and B.Sc. undergraduate courses. Students must have passed HSE examination to be eligible for admission to undergraduate courses.

The selection will be done on the basis of merit. A final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidate in HSE by the college on the basis of which they will be get admission.

SRCAS PG Admission 2023

SRCAS offers M.A., MBA, M.Com. and MSW for post-graduate courses. Students must have possess a graduation degree to be eligible for admission to PG courses. The selection will be done on the basis of merit that is marks scored by candidate in qualifying examination.

SRCAS Application Process 2023

Candidates can apply for under graduation, post-graduation, Research and career oriented courses via offline mode by visiting the college campus in person. Respective application process is elaborated below step-wise:

Candidates need to first fill the application form that they can get from the college.
They need to make the application fee payment of INR 100/- for graduate courses, INR 325/- for MBA and MCA courses and INR A175/- for the remaining Post-Graduate courses.
Payment should be done in the form of either cash or Demand Draft drawn in the favour of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, payable at Coimbatore.
They should enclose two Photostat copies of the following certificates:

S.S.L.C. Book – First page and Mark Sheet (two copies)
Transfer Certificate
Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
Statement of marks (Grades) issued by the Higher Secondary Board or the University.
Statement of marks, Provisional or degree examinations in Annamalai University, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and all other Universities other than Tamilnadu should produce eligibility certificate from the Bharathiar University before admission to any PG course in the college.
Two stamp size photograph for I.D. Card.

Application form for both M.Phil. and Ph.D. can be obtained from the Registrar of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore - 641046.
Once candidates are shortlisted and their names show up in the merit list, they need to visit the campus in person and submit the required semester fees.

A Review tour of SREC

Admission:

The eligibility of the course is to have a minimum of 60 percent of marks in 10th and 12th. Application forms willl be provided in college campus and the fee for the application form is 100rs. Applications will be opened from March. I have availed reservation benefits for First Graduate and SC. College is supporting well for availing such scholarships. During the admission process, faculties must engage more with the parents and students and clear all the queries regarding admission and further processes.

My experience in my college

Admission:

No entrance exam is needed. But marks in your board exams are enough. I scored 88% in my board exams. I got a seat through counselling under OBC reservation and I am the first graduate in my family. The application form fee will be around 500 rupees. If your cutoff should be somewhere between 180 to 190. If not you can get a seat in the management quota. And it is very expensive.
