JSS Academy of Technical Education- Application Process 2023

Candidates can only apply through offline mode through forms that are available at the campus or at the website. After applying, shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling session that will be held at the campus.

Candidates can obtain the application form and brochure from JSSATE office or even from VTU office.
The filled in application form (with marks of qualifying examination) must then be submitted to the campus along with all the required documents.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the counselling schedule through mail.

Reservation Criteria

In case of M.Tech., the general category seats remaining vacant after allotment to GATE candidates, 90% of the seats are reserved for Karnataka candidates and the remaining 10% for Non-Karnataka candidates.
Reservation will be provided to Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, the Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.

Scholarship

GATE Stipend is available for candidates applying through their GATE marks.
The Institute arranges for SC/ST/OBC Students to get the scholarship from Social Welfare Office/Minority Departments of the Government of Karnataka.

So Good!!

Admission:

I took admitted to the CSE branch through the COMEDK exam in 2019. the cutoff at my time for CSE was a 15K rank but now as the ranking of the college is degrading due to obvious reasons it became a 30K-35K rank. you just have to give the COMEDK exam if you're not from Karnataka or Hyderabad. the fees for COMEDK students are triple that of KCET students. The KCET exam is only for Karnataka-Hyderabad students.
