What students say about Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management - [IITM]

Likes

  • Bachelor in Computer Applications - this course is very good and has a promising scope in the IT world.
  • You dont have to find the company; you just have to enroll in Internware, and they will find the best internship according to your interest.
  • As I have already mentioned, big companies are tied up with our colleges, and the minimum package is around 4,00,000, which is really good compared to most colleges.
  • I got a job on campus with a stipend. First, I had campus placement, and then they allotted me the one in which I was the best.
  • The extracurricular activities are very good; for everything, you have to audition for dance, music, acting, or any sport.
  • My syllabus is under Mumbai University, so how to update your course syllabus was provided enough industrial exposure and experience. Mr. Vikrant Gharat is a very good faculty in my college; he is a lawyer.
  • Overall, our college is the best and our faculty is also the best.

Dislike

  • There was no fee hike during the course, but after we graduated, the college asked for extra money, or they wouldnt provide us with a degree.
  • The campus life of the college is really pathetic. They have a small campus area that is not well-maintained, and there is frequently ongoing construction.
  • The college canteen has a small infrastructure, but the college does not have a play ground for extracurricular activities. Students have to go to another play ground outside the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements is good as almost all the student gets placement offer from great tech companies (like tcl, Wipro, sap, etc.) some new startup with a good offer, some financial institute, etc. Multiple companies that come in BCA are mass recruiters. Students are eligible for placement in the last year of their course.

Remarks:

You need to give entrance to IPU CET BCA and according to your score, you can select the eligible college. You have to pay a lump-sum of 40000 during the booking of a seat and this amount is adjusted with the first year of the fee.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is quite experienced and they have good contacts with the MNC which provides good jobs with great packages. Also, they provide all the knowledge and prepare the students for the interviews and exams before the joining process.

Remarks:

For the admission process, I have appeared for Common Entrance Test(CET) by GGSIPU. There is a particular criterion to apply for the CET and it's an mcq based questions exam including questions about general knowledge, logical reasoning, simple maths, and language. After the test, you score a particular rank based on your performance in the test and according to your rank, You can apply for various colleges by GGSIPU.

Placement Experience:

In the 4th semester, students got training for their campus placement. Detroit, Wipro. Companies like these visits the campus for placement drives. The highest package is 5 lakh per annum offered to a BCOM student. There is almost 99% of ratio students get placed in this college. My plans are for higher studies.

Remarks:

So the eligibility criteria are to pass the common entrance test known as IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. IPU CET is for the courses like BBA, BCA, and BCOM IN IP University. You can find the application form on the IP University website which is www.ip.ac.in. And the fee for the application form is 500 rupees for every course. There are not so many reservations at IP University. Only St & SC can get the benefits of reservations in it.

Placement Experience:

This college provides placement to all students and all courses as it has the highest percentage and record of providing campus placements to students enrolling in this university. Approximately 97-98% of students get placements.

Remarks:

The admission process was quite lengthy and difficult this year due to cuet exams conducted this year. I have CET entrance exams for IP University which were also tough indeed. The admission process took approximately 3-4 months after giving the exams which were not so good.
