Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), established in 1990, offers Diploma, MBBS course at the UG level, and MD and MS courses at the PG level and also offers Super Specialty courses in Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery. Application for admission is made via online methods. Admission to UG and PG courses is done solely on the basis of NEET-UG/ NEET PG. Admission to the Super Specialty course (M.Ch. also, DM) is based totally on the NEET SS score. The minimum eligibility for MBBS is 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in PCB and pass in English.

JNMC Admissions

Admission to all the courses of JNMC is on the basis of NEET entrance exam of various levels.

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha offers MBBS at the UG level with an intake of 250 students. Candidates seeking admission must have passed 10 2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Selection to MBBS undertow is on the understructure of the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA, New Delhi. 

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College offers MD and MS courses at the PG level in various disciplines of Medicines and Surgery respectively with PG Diploma courses. Candidates applying to these courses must have passed MBBS from a recognized institute. Selection will be based on the NEET PG SS score.

JNMC FAQs

Ques. What are the general details of the NEET exam?

Ans. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam is an offline test multiple choice question paper that lasts 3 hours. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It has 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotech. For every correct answer, 4 marks are given and for every wrong, 1 mark is cut.

Ques. Who is eligible for NEET-UG 15% All India Quota Counseling? 

Ans. All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (NTA) except J&K. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from the NTA website. 

Ques. What documents are required at the time of online counseling?

Ans. Since it is an online allotment (Online Counseling) process, no documents will be required for participating in the online allotment process during the Registration process.

Ques. What are the freeze, float, and withdrawal options in the NEET counseling form? 

Ans. If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted college in the form and does not want to be considered for any more rounds of the counseling can use the Freeze option. This is also known as the Lock option. On the other hand, if the candidate is satisfied but also wants to be considered for other colleges and rounds, he can use the Float option. Lastly, if the student is not satisfied with allotted college, and does not want to appear for the subsequent rounds, he can use the withdraw option.
