Admission :

I got admission in year 2019, it was supposed to happen through entrance exam but due to some problem, we got admission on basis of merit list of graduation. So basically it is not the way of admission but that year it happen that way, my college comes under davv University and talking about mba, specialisation there is divided in two college one is IMS and second one is iips, so you have large variety to opt specialisation for mba, ims is most renowned college not just in davv but throughout Mp, selection of specialisation depends on your cet ranking and in our time it was marit base and both pattern have reservations for sc st and obc and the fourth criteria which has been recently announced is ews that is for general people, their is no interview and other round as in different college.

Ques. Which college is better for a PGDM/MBA from ISBS Pune and IMS Indore?

● Top Answer By Janvi Bhambri on 16 Jun 21

Ans. Having friends in both colleges, in my opinion, ISBS Pune is much better than IIM Indore. Let me share some details, as to why I feel this way. First of all, location-wise, Pune is a really good location as compared to Indore when it comes to looking for jobs as well as lifestyle. The course curriculum and the faculties are really good at ISBS. If you are looking for a really good student crowd, you will find that at ISBS and even IIMP Pune. There are a number of advantages you will get to explore if you join ISBS. The college has an educational foreign trip to Singapore and also provides laptops to students. There are also a number of international and national seminars you can attend. You will also be able to gain a lot of certifications and go for industry visits. You will also have placement training for GDPI. The table below will give you an idea regarding the placements: Categories ISBS Pune IMS Indore Course Fee 4.6 -7.2 lakh 1.39 - 2.38 lakh Highest CTC 9-12 LPA 10 LPA Average CTC 5.5 LPA 6 LPA Recruiting Companies Deloitte, ITC, TCS, KPMG, etc. Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, Hexaware, etc. Thus, according to me, you should definitely consider ISBS Pune for management studies as compared to IMS Indore.Read more

Ques. How is IMS Indore (DAVV) in terms of teaching and placement?

● Top Answer By Sounak Banerjee on 08 Jun 21

Ans. My sister attended IMS Indore. So, I can give you some ideas about the institute. Academics at the institute are average at best. The faculties are good but they have a lack of enthusiasm in teaching. The placement at IMS Indore is very good. It is one of the best colleges in Central India. This college will give ample industry exposure and will help you in developing your skills through their events. There are various types of events organized in the college. The placement statistics at IMS Indore are as follows. Average CTC 4-4.5 LPA Highest CTC INR 7.3 LPA. Recruiting companies Deloitte, ACC, Aditya Birla Group, ICICI, Mahindra, Nestle, ITC, Dainik Bhaskar, Reliance Mobile, etc. Top specialisation in placement Finance. Marketing Hope this gives you some ideas.Read more

Ques. What is the average placement of IMS DAVV Indore?

● Top Answer By Satyam Purwar on 13 Apr 21

Ans. Almost all students who are serious about their job get placed at IMS DAVV. Placement records of sales and marketing fields are amazing when compared to the finance or HR field at the Indian Institute of Management studies DAVV. The domestic package offered might range from 3.5 to 6.5 LPA. One thing worth mentioning is that you are competing with IIPS students along with your batchmates at IMS as there will be common placement sessions for both campuses most of the time.  Placement statistics 2020: Particulars IMS DAVV Number of students recruited 379 Highest CTC offered 7.3 LPA Average CTC offered 4.8 LPA Minimum CTC offered 2 LPA Placement rate 75% Clearly, placement at IMS DAVV is not that great. The average package offered from the past few years has a trend of 3.5- 6.5 LPA Read more

Ques. What is the placement scenario at IMS (Indore) for MBA?

● Top Answer By Debdeep Majumder on 20 Mar 21

Ans. When you look at Tier 3 cities, you should not expect good placements as compared to those you might bag in metro cities. The same is true for IMS Indore as well. It could be the best college in Madhya Pradesh, but the MBA program offered by the college is clearly not as enriching as that offered in a metro city. This will eventually affect placements which will cause them to be poorer. From what most of us have observed, not all students will get placed. Only about 50% of the total students will possibly land a job with the highest salary offered at INR 6.5 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary offered is INR 3.5 lakhs per annum. None the less, there are quite a few placement services offered by the college. These include summer placement and training that are offered on a regular basis. They also have strong linkages with the industry and many public organizations. Some of the recruiters at the college include ITC, Nestle, Aditya Birla, Johnson & Johnson, Asian Paints and Deloitte. Another helpful point that could possibly interest you is the collaboration for MBA in Hospital Administration that the college has with Tulane University in the US. As a suggestion, you should look for colleges in Maharashtra for an MBA as that will definitely help you seek better opportunities than IMS Indore.Read more
