Mumbai University IDOL (Mumbai University, Institute of Distance and Open Learning) is a department of distance education at Mumbai University. It is the 7th university in the country that began the Distance Education Program in a conventional setup. Mumbai University IDOL Admission 2023

The application form for all programs offered by MU IDOL is available on the official website of Mumbai University. The application fee varies for different programs. Candidates who wish to apply for any program are required to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria prescribed by the university. The minimum eligibility for UG courses is class 12 with not less than 50% marks while for master’s programs, applicants must have a graduate degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% of the marks. Ph.D. admissions are considered on the basis of a valid qualifying marks and a university-based entrance test followed by the personal interview session. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates SC/ ST/ OBC.

Selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. Shortlisted candidates are called for the document verification process.
