MOSA B.Arch Admission 2023

At the undergraduate level, MOSA offers five-year under graduate course in Architecture for the candidates who have passed class 12th with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Minimum qualifying marks to apply for admissions is 50% aggregate. The lower age limit of the candidate is 17 years (as on January 31, 2021).

Applicants who possess 3 years Diploma or International Baccalaureate passed after 10 years of Schooling are also eligible to apply. Admissions will be made through merit list issued on the basis of candidate’s scores in National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA).

Entrance test will be conducted through pen and paper mode. Applicants must have secured minimum 80 marks in NATA. The test will comprise two sections:

MOSA M.Arch Admission 2023

The institute offers two years M.Arch in two specializations (General and Environmental Architecture) to candidates who have completed Bachelors course in Architecture. The course is offered under both - regular and part-time mode. Candidates will be admitted for the course through counseling based on their scores in State Level entrance test i.e. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).

Environmental Architecture

The entrance exam will be of two hours duration and shall be conducted offline. The test will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each and following sections:

  • Part B: Basic Engineering & Sciences

Candidates having obtained the qualifying degree through distance mode are not eligible to apply.

MOSA Diploma, Certificate Admission 2023

For the candidates admitted to the first year of the courses at MOSA, the institute offers Value Additional Courses under the Council for Innovative Skills in Design and Value Add On Courses under Heritage Council (Research & Development) in an array of disciplines. Candidates can opt to pursue the courses along with the regular courses with 50%/ 75%/ 100% scholarships (as applicable). Candidates having passed class 12th or having completed three years Diploma after class 10th are eligible to apply for admissions.

MOSA Application Process 2023

For admission to courses offered by MOSA, candidates must follow the application procedure stated below:

  • Candidate should log on to the official portal of the college.
  • Select “B.Arch Admissions” link under the Courses tab at the home page.
  • Click on “Bachelor of Architecture” link under the Download Applications section at the redirected page.
  • For PG applications, select “M.Arch Admissions” link under the courses tab and download the corresponding application form.
  • Download and take the printout of the application form.
  • Fill in all the mandatory details and attach self-attested copies of the necessary documents along with the application form.
  • Along with the duly filled-in application form, Demand Draft (DD) of the application fee of INR 600 (same for B.Arch and M.Arch).
  • DD must be drawn in favor of “McGAN’s Ooty School of Architecture”, payable at Ooty.

In case of UG Course, the following documents will should be attached along with the form:

  1. Class 12th mark sheet
  2. NATA Score card
  3. Transfer Certificate
  4. Migration Certificate
  5. Conduct/ Character Certificate
  6. Community Certificate

In case of PG Course, the following documents will should be attached along with the form:

  1. Attested photograph
