AISSMS College of Pharmacy Admission 2024: UG, PG, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Process

AISSMS College of Pharmacy offers Full-Time B.Pharma courses in various specializations. AISSMS COP also accepts direct admission under Lateral entry scheme for the duration of three years from second year.

B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any of the following subjects: Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology and have secured 45% marks (40% marks from Backward class and PWD categories belonging to Maharashtra state only).
• The candidate should have obtained a non-zero score in MHT - CET/ NEET (for All India candidates)
• For Lateral Entry: Candidates must have a Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 40% marks. For the same, the candidate should have passed from the PCI; (Delhi) approved Diploma in Pharmacy from the state of Maharashtra.

B.Pharma Selection Process:

• Admission is based on the basis of a student’s performance in the MHT-CET or NEET exam.
• Candidates have to appear for CAP counselling conducted by the Government of Maharashtra and select the college.
• Selected candidates can take admission on the specified date.

NOTE – 80% of seats are filled through CAP based on the MHT CET/ NEET exam while 20% seats are filled through Management Quota on the basis of MHT CET exam only.

AISSMS College of Pharmacy offers Full-Time M.Pharm courses in 4 specializations.

M.Pharma Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate should have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved category candidates) from any recognized University.
• The candidate should have a valid GPAT score.
• Sponsored candidates must have 2 years of work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/or research institute/ any Government Department or Govt. Autonomous Organization in the related field in which admission is sought.

M.Pharma Selection Process:

• Admission is done through CAP based on a valid score in GPAT exam.
• 80% of the total intake is filled through CAP while 20% seats are filled through Management Quota based on GPAT score.

AISSMS College of Pharmacy offers Full-Time Ph.D. courses in 2 specializations. The program is offered in full time regular mode for 2 years in Ph.D.

There are 2 specializations in the Ph.D. courses namely Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

AISSMS College of Pharmacy Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must have a  Master's Degree in a related field with at least 45% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale. 5% exemption from the prescribed minimum marks for SC/ST/OBC/Specially Abled candidates. Check detailed eligibility here.

Ph.D Selection Process:

• AISSMS COP conducts entrance examination for granting admission into the Ph.D. course
• Those who have a valid score of GATE/ GPAT/ UGC/ SET/ NET/ JRF/ SRF or DST Inspire Fellowship are exempted from the entrance exam.
• Selected candidates list will be displayed on the official website and called for an interview.
• Those who perform well in the interview have to further give a presentation.
• The final selection will be based on this presentation.
