A Bachelor’s degree holder can apply for MA, M.Sc, M.Com and PG Diploma courses.
BA, B.Com, BBA and Diploma courses require 10+2 in the cognate subject group from a recognized board while Certificate program requires a pass in X standard.
Admission is offered on the basis of candidates’ marks in the qualifying examination. Final selection is subject to the verification of documents at the Bangalore University, DDE.

Bangalore University DDE Admission 2023: BA, B.Com, BBA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc & Diploma

Distance & Correspondence education (DDE) of Bangalore University offers BA, BBA, B.Com at UG level and MA, M.COM, M.Sc courses at the PG level along with PG Diploma in various streams.

UG degree from a recognized university is mandatory for Master’s degree courses while 10+2 in the related subject group is required for BA, B.Com and BBA courses.

Admission is completely merit-based followed by document verification at Bangalore University, DDE.

Key Points:

BA and MA courses are offered in both English and Kannada medium.
B.Com, BBA, M.Com, M.Sc, and Diploma courses are offered in English medium only.
Those who have passed the qualifying examination (for admission to PG courses) in 2010 or earlier will be relaxed with 5% marks in the aggregate marks.

Bangalore University DDE Application Process 2023

Application form for all the courses offered by Bangalore university DDE can be filled in offline mode by following the listed steps:

Obtain the application form from Bangalore One Centres/ State Bank of India on payment of INR 750.

The application form can also be obtained from Bangalore University DDE office on payment of INR 750 through DD drawn in favor of “ Finance Officer, Bangalore University” Payable at Bangalore.

Students can also download the application form from the official website of university. Application fees of INR 750 can be paid through DD followed by submission to the DDE address.

Obtain the application form through post by sending a self-addressed envelope (30 cm X 25 cm) along with DD of INR 750 with postal stamps of INR 200 to DDE address.

Hall ticket can be downloaded from the official website of Bangalore University, DDE. Follow these steps to download the admit card:

Visit the official website of Bangalore University DDE/Correspondence.
In the main menu, click on ‘Hall Ticket’ followed by ‘Fresh Hall Tickets’.
Enter ID Number, Degree and semester/ year.
Click on ‘Download Hall Ticket’ and save it for future requirements.

Note: Those who are unable to download the Hall ticket/ admission ticket may contact the DDE office along with the ID card. Hall ticket will be given only on production of the ID card.
