Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology Admissions

  • For the Super Speciality M.Ch and D.M courses, admissions are through the entrance exam/ counseling session conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
  • For the specialty MD and DMRT courses, admissions are based on All India Quota via an entrance exam for some seats, and for the rest, an entrance exam conducted by the University.
  • For the DNB courses, admissions are through the Entrance test and Counseling conducted by the National Board of Examinations. 
  • Admissions to B.Sc and Post Basic Diploma courses are based on a round of personal interview conducted by the institute.
  • One seat of M.Sc is based on counseling by RGUHS while the remaining are based on interviews conducted by the Institute.

The facilities of the college include:

  • Library: It contains 4413 textbooks, 6971 bound journals, and 70 current periodicals. It has a sitting capacity for 70 members at a time. It also contains an electronic library in which collections are stored in electronic media formats (as opposed to print, microform, or other media) and accessible via electronic content may be stored locally, or accessed remotely via computer networks.
  • Hostel: There are separate hostels provided for girls and boys, further divided into UG and PG hostels. A monthly fee of 200 is charged to UG students and 800-1350 is charged to PG students. To apply, students must fill the form in his/her own handwriting and carry:

    • Recommendation of the Head of the concerned Department

    • Signatures of Father/ Mother/ Guardian on the declaration forms and

    • Two passport size photographs attested by the concerned Head of the Department.
