Chandradhari Mithila College, Darbhanga, was established in 1938 under the institution of LN Mithila University. This is one of the oldest reputed colleges in India.   • State-Sponsored Scholarship for SC/ST Students: College allows SC/ST category students to apply for scholarships provided by the state government. 
  • Sudama-Ramdhari-Merit-Cum-Poverty Scholarship: The college provides INR 100 per month to extremely poor students who have passed with first division in previous exams. The scholarship is provided to only two such students. 
  • Late Umakant Jha Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the students from the faculty of Humanities and Social Science. The selection of eligible students for the scholarship is done by the teachers. 
  • Atma Ram Poddar Memorial Prize: An amount of INR 15000 is provided as the prize to encourage extracurricular activities. The scholarship is provided to 11 students and two groups under four categories: Debate Competition: 4 Students, Creative Writing: 2 Students, Correct Writing: 5 Students, Quiz Competition: 2 Groups.
