Burdwan Medical College is located in Burdwan, West Bengal. and was established in the year 1969. It is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Science and recognized by MCI.
At present, Burdwan Medical College runs MBBS at UG level and offers MD and MS at PG level.
- To get admission to any UG, PG, Diploma program candidates shall apply as per the instruction of the West Bengal University of Health Science. The application procedure is different for each course.
- Candidates who have completed 10+2 in PCB with 50% marks are eligible to get admission to MBBS program.
- Admission to the course is given through NEET UG.
- The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to MD and MS course is candidates must have completed MBBS Degree from the recognized University.
- Admission to MD and MS program is given on the basis of the candidate’s NEET PG merit.

Burdwan Medical College and Hospital runs MBBS program of 5 ½ years duration with the intake of 150 students.
