Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women Admissions 2023 will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by NTA. CUET UG scores will be used to determine admission to UG courses. 

Once the CUET results are declared, the registration process will start on Delhi University’s admission portal- - admission.uod.ac.in. Further, they will be required to fill in their preference for college and program. Seat Allocation will be done in various multiple rounds based on the multiple factors through the CSAS portal.

SRCASW UG Selection Process

Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Shaheed Rajguru College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:

  • Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
  • Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
  • Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

  • Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
  • ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

  • Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
  • After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

  • Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
  • Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
  • Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
  • Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
  • Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.

At my time there was no entrance exam it was totally merit-based and I filled form for it which was easily shown on the bulletin board of delhi university's official website they will calculate your 3 main subjects for the honours course and 4 subjects for the program course but now you have to give cucet exam for it and also you have to give your preference of college in the application form.

For getting into SRC, one needs to crack the DUJAT exam ie Delhi University Joint Admission Test with a top rank. Over 40000 candidates appear for this exam every year. Eligibility for the exam: The candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class XII. But now due to the new education policy, you have to crack only cucet exam.
