Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Communication Engineering) From PCE, Nagpur

Admissions to the M.Tech program are offered through the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. To know about the prerequisites for admissions, the details have been given below:

Eligibility Criteria

The students applying for M.Tech admissions are eligible only if:

• They are Indian nationals.
• Must have a degree in Engineering and Technology from AICTE/Central/State Government approved institutions with 50% aggregate (45% for backward classes/persons with disability belonging to Indian state). 
• Qualified GATE. OR
• For sponsored students, a minimum of 2 years of full-time employment experience is mandatory to be proved. 

Admission Process

Students in the final year can apply for admissions on the condition that they are able to submit their final scores before the CET cut-off list. Else admission may be offered to non-GATE qualified students on the decision of State CET Cell. 

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id for GATE.

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
