Excel Engineering College, Namakkal Admissions 2024: Application process, Counselling
Excel Engineering College laid its foundation in the year 2007 and offers admissions to UG and PG courses in the discipline of engineering. The college has affiliation to Anna University, approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC.
Currently, Excel Engineering College offers courses in B.E and M.E. Lateral Entry into second year of B.E are also offered.
- As per Anna University eligibility norms candidates applying for B.E course should apply through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA).
- Admission is done on the basis of marks secured by candidates in PCM in HSC qualifying examination.
- Those interested in applying must complete the register-cum-application process for TNEA counselling in offline mode.
- In case of Lateral Entry admissions candidates need to have passed Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc.
- Admission are allotted through merit of qualifying examination.
- Those applying for M.E course must appear in TANCET conducted by Anna University.
- Post declaration of results admissions shall be allotted through counselling carried out by Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA).
- Both B.E and M.E candidates must indicate the choice of course and opt for Excel Engineering College as their preferred choice during offline counselling.

EEC, Namakkal B.E Admissions 2023
EEC offers B.E course under six specialisations along with lateral entry admissions. Admissions to B.E course are based on the marks obtained by candidates in HSC, followed by counselling conducted by Anna University. The shortlisted candidates are invited for offline counselling as per merit list and category. The counselling process will start by the end of June, 2021.
Those applying for Lateral Entry will be selected as per merit of marks obtained in qualifying examination. The eligibility criteria for different categories in each course will be as shown below:

There are certain eligibility criteria that candidates need to satisfy before applying for admissions through TNEA:
- Those who are applying under other-state quota but are citizens of India are equally eligible to apply.
- Applicants applying on the basis of marks in HSC vocational stream need to have studied PCM or related subjects, vocational theory and practicals.
- Candidates may even approach the institute directly for admissions under management quota for both the courses.
EEC, Namakkal M.E Admissions 2023
EEC college offers PG course of M.E in six specialisations. For admissions, candidates need to have TANCET or GATE scores. Based on inter-se-merit and normalization of marks, candidates are called up for counselling by TANCA. The application process for TANCET and offline counselling shall start in the month of May, 2021.

- Candidates appearing in their final year examination are eligible to apply for admissions.
- Those with a valid GATE Score need not appear for TANCET.
- For seats under management candidates need to apply contact the institute directly.
Excel Engineering College, Application Process
Application to the college can be made through registration for TNEA/TANCET on the concerned authority website in online mode only. Candidates may also apply directly at the college by submitting the downloaded form from the official website of EEC.
TNEA Registration and Counselling:
- Candidates need to register on the official website of TNEA by providing Login ID and Password with OTP verification.
- Post registration candidates have to provide details like name, address, DOB, Phone number, academic qualification and pay the registration fee in online (Credit/Debit Card) or offline mode (DD issued in favour of “The Secretary (TNEA), Anna University”, payable at Chennai.
- The print out of final submitted must be submitted in person or by post along with other required documents to the given address:

Chennai – 600 025. - Applicants whose names get shortlisted in TNEA merit list will be eligible to take part in the offline counselling process.
- Seats will be alloted on merit-cum-means basis. Candidates are required to pay the counselling fee after the seat allotment and document verification.
TANCET Registration and Counselling
- Registration to TANCET can be made in online mode only on the official website of Anna University.
- Complete registration to generate User ID and password.
- Fill up the TANCET Application Form and upload a recent coloured passport size photograph.
- Remit the requisite application fee in online mode only using Debit/Credit Card.
- Candidates have to follow separate application procedure for TANCET Counselling based on merit ranks released by the concerned authority.
- The registration to counselling can be made in both online and offline.
- Those who have GATE scores shall participate directly in TANCET Counselling.
