Kakatiya University School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education-[SDLCE], located in Telangana, Warangal, is a distance learning branch established on August 19, 1967, at Kakatiya University in Warangal. SDLCE was established in 1988 and was provisionally approved by DEC (Distance Education Bureau).

SDLCE has attained status as a nodal agency (direct contact office) with its undertaking goTraining and Research in the field of Distance Education. SDLCE receives full financial assistance from DEC, New Delhi. It has been accredited with Grade A by NAAC.

SDLCE Telangana, Warangal offers a total of 81 distance learning programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate courses, vocational, professional, and doctorate courses. There are a total of 165 study centers located all around Telangana with additional centers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.

All the certification courses, undergraduate courses, PG diploma courses and PG courses are not subject to entrance exams or age restrictions. Ed, M.Ed and M. professional courses are only open to professors. 

Applicants who wish to enroll in the above courses and applicants for a Bachelor of Arts degree should apply through the university's website. The choice is based on their advantages. Reservation is in accordance with other AP Educational Institutions.

Kakatiya University, SDLCE Scholarships

The college does not offer any scholarships, nor does it have a placement cell. Students belonging to EWS can apply for fee concession at the Administration office, but this is subject to availability.

Gold medals are awarded to the toppers of their programs from funds awarded to the institute by prominent members of society.

Kakatiya University SDLCE FAQs

Ques. What is the mode of instruction at the centers?

Ans. Within Telangana, the mode of teaching is Telegu and English. For centers located in other states, English is used as the primary mode of conducting classes.

Ques. Can I apply for a change in education centers after taking admission?

Ans. If a candidate wants to apply for a transfer of study centers, he/ she should make an application within one month of the date of their admission. If the administration finds them eligible, candidates must pay a sum of INR 500.

Ques. Where can I get study material for my course?

Ans. Centers will be allotted for the distribution of study materials. Candidates are advised to obtain their material from these centers only. Those who submit the application form at Kakatiya University study center will receive their material from there itself.

Ques. Can I apply for more than one course at the same time?

Ans. Candidates are not allowed to take simultaneous admission in more than one course at the same time. They also cannot apply for more courses in other universities while completing their degree at SDLCE. Violators will be removed from the college roll.

Ques. If I cancel my admission, will I get a refund?

Ans. In case of candidates canceling their admission, no refund will be provided. If the college cancels a student’s admission after acceptance, then a refund will be provided after deducting 20% of the original fee paid.
