Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University is one of the premier universities in the country started in 1964 and is located in Pune. It became a university in 1996. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate levels which cover a variety of disciplines. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Distance Education (SDE) aims to promote self-learning and provide academic opportunities to those who were unable to pursue their education at full-time courses. It is one of the most prominent such institutions in the state of Maharashtra.

The university offers BA, B.Com, MA(English), M.Com, MSW under the faculty of arts, Social sciences & Commerce
BBA, BCA, MBA is the part of Faculty of Management Studies
The university also offers different diplomas in law programme viz, Diploma in Taxation Laws, Corporate law, Cyberlaw, Human rights and many more.

BVDU, Distance UG Admissions 2023: BA, B.Com, BBA, BCA

The University offers BA, B.Com, BBA, BCA at the undergraduate level. The admission is granted on the basis of merit on a first come first served basis. Eligibility for BA, BCA & BBA is at the 10+2 level from any recognized board in the country, i.e CBSE/ ISC/ State Board or the equivalent.

Reservation is in accordance with government regulations.

The basic requirement for eligibility is graduation from any recognized university/college in the country. 5% relaxation is given to those who are from reserved categories (minimum 45% requirement). Relevant degrees are required for MCA, MA English, courses.

The University offers Diploma in law. It offers 6 different specializations which are: Diploma in Taxation Laws, Human Rights, Cyber Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Laws & Labour Laws and Welfare. The eligibility criteria of all these diploma courses same that Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university.

BVDU, Distance Application Process 2023

Candidates who wish to apply may do so by completing all the steps specified in the following application process.

Go to the official university website, and go to the ‘Admission’ tab.
Click on ‘Online Admission’ and then the ‘Apply Online’ link.
Fill in all required details in the form, and verify before submitting.
The application fee is Rs. 500 in cash, and Rs. 600 if requested by post.
Alternatively, the form can be bought and submitted at the college office itself.
If requested by post, the completed application form must be sent back within the due date along with the stipulated fee to be considered for admission.
The University offers a number of courses at the postgraduate level. Those who wish to pursue such courses at this university may apply to do so through the official university website or at the institute itself, or even through the post option available.
