Admissions at Mysore College of Engineering & Management - (MYCEM) are offered on the basis of scores obtained in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, COMEDK UGET. 15% of the seats which come under the management quota are offered on the basis of marks obtained in the previous examination. 

How to apply?

  3. The application form is divided into various sections.
  4. In the first section, candidates have to fill in the Application number, the program sought(CS, CE, EC, IE, ME), and the admission quota(KCET, MGT, COMED-K/DIP).
  5. In the second section, candidates have to fill in personal information such as name, sex, place of birth, date of birth, nationality, caste, religion, mother tongue, blood group, category, mobile number, and email-id.
  6. In the third section, candidates have to fill in the details of their parents such as name, occupation, mobile number, and annual income.
  7. In the fourth section, candidates have to fill in details of previous examinations such as college name, college code, city, year of passing, state exam passed, phone, medium, and marks and percentage scored in physics, chemistry, mathematics.
  8. In the fifth section, candidates have to fill in address details such as district, state, Pincode, and entire home address.
  9. FInally, candidates have to fill in bank details such as account number, name, branch, and place.
  10. In the seventh section, candidates have to fill in details of entrance tests such as scores of CET or COMED-K, Registration Number, and Rank. 
  11. Candidates have to paste their latest passport size photograph on the form and also have to provide their signature 

After filling the application form, candidates have to send the application form along with DD of application fee to 1072, T. Narasipura Road, Near Big Banyan Tree, Chikhalli, Mysuru.

Mysore College of Engineering & Management - (MYCEM) Mysore Scholarships

The government of Karnataka has introduced many schemes and scholarships for the Scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes of the society. The scholarships and Schemes are listed below:

  1. Post-Matric Scholarship

This scholarship is introduced by the Backward Classes Welfare Department. Students who are a citizen of Karnataka belonging to backward classes and who are pursuing post-matric education from a college situated in Karnataka. The family annual income should be between 1 lakh and 2 Lakh. The students will be offered Rs 3500/- each month till the course is over.

  1. Vidyasiri

The Backward Classes Welfare Department offers this scholarship to students of backward regions pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate courses who have a family income of less than 1 Lakh. Students will be offered Rs 1500/- each month till the course is over.

  1. D. Devaraj Urs Prathibha Puraskara

This is awarded to the students of Karnataka colleges who have scored more than 90% in the undergraduate examination and belong to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled tribes and other backward classes have a family income less than Rs1 lakh.

  1. Sir C V Raman Scholarship

This scholarship is for the students who are pursuing engineering degrees who have scored the highest score in their previous examination. The students should belong to the backward classes and have an annual income less than Rs 2 Lakh per annum. The students will be awarded Rs 5000 on the undergraduate level.

  1. Kittur Rani Chennama Puraskar

This scholarship is only for the girl students studying at the undergraduate level in Karnataka. The girl students should have a BPL card, only then they will be eligible for this scholarship. The students will be reimbursed for their CET fees.

  1. Rajiv Gandhi Loan Scholarship

Students who are pursuing post-matric education in the state of Karnataka and have a family income less than Rs 2 lakh per annum. Students who have loans will be helped by the government by paying their interest for the study period.

  1. Scholarship for Victims/Victims’ Children who suffer from HIV and Leprosy

The government of Karnataka, under this scheme, offers Rs 21,800/- to the victims of HIV and Leprosy who are pursuing post-matric education in the state of Karnataka.

  1. Scholarship for the children of Defence personnel
  2. Scholarship of Rs 500 for students who have scored highest in Kannada/English/Sanskrit.

Mysore College of Engineering & Management - (MYCEM) introduced its central library in the year 2015 which consisted of Books, e-books, Journals, and Magazines. The library has approximately 150 seats for students in the reference section. The library is using the software known as KOHA for maintaining the books. The public catalog has more than 4.8 thousand books. 

  1. Sports Facilities

The college not only believes in education but also in physical fitness. The college has a playground which is used by the students to play games such as cricket, football, basketball, and various other games.

The college has a conference room which is equipped with all kinds of latest technology which is very helpful for the students and the faculty.

Buses are running from Monday to Saturday in morning and evening shifts. Students who have opted for the transportation facility are picked from their house and dropped back. An Ambulance is also available on campus for emergencies.
