The primary reason for choosing this course, ECE (Electronics and Consideration), is that it helps in gaining entry into IT services as well as corporate services.
COGNIZANT, TCS, and WIPRO are some of the companies that offer internships with stipends. Im not entirely sure about the stipend, though.
The college focuses on sharpening the entrepreneurial skills of the students. Companies come with attractive packages.
The best part about this college is that it has an authentic campus cell and tie-ups with many companies.
The labs are well-equipped with good facilities and machines, and all the lab tech support assistants are knowledgeable and know how to navigate well in the laboratory environment.
You have to arrange it by yourself from outside the college, but there are many opportunities and availability of paying guests near the college for both boys and girls at a reasonable rate. Good security and food options are available for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, but they are not available from the college.
As I havent studied from each and every teacher in our college, I only know my department the best. I can guarantee anyone that they would feel good to be here.

Dislike

Our college placement cell is also poor in civil engineering; it cannot provide any company, and many students are placed in blacklisted companies. This is a very disappointing situation in terms of placement.
Job opportunities are fewer. Teachers are good and friendly. The fees structure is not good. The service in the canteen is bad. The food is costly. The Xerox center is costly. The college is not well maintained. The laboratory is very bad. The book bank was decent.

one of the great institute

Course Curriculum Overview:

there are about 20 to 25 professors in every department. most of them are highly educated and Ph.D. holders. they are friendly and down-to-earth people. their way of interaction is great. exam levels at jadavpur university are easy to moderate.

Remarks:

for admission to jadavpur university students must qualify west bengal joint entrance exam. for computer science, the engineering cutoff is nearly 100-150. if someone's rank is within 5000 he/ she can get into this institute. students get admission through wbjee counseling.
