The faculty experience was nice, but the college needs to work on its playing area.
I am a third-year student in Bachelor of Arts. My experience has been very good, as all the staff and students are very friendly and accommodating.
I hadnt gone through any placements till now, but I heard that they are not that good in our college.
Colleges provide scholarships to students who excel in their studies and deserve the scholarship.
If you do not buy books, you can avail books from the college library. For more details, log on to Bhai Kahan Singh Library of SGGS College. Additionally, the classrooms of our college are very good.
The hostel facility is very good and also the mess in the hostel is very good. They provide me with fresh food. The gym is also very good for students. There is a study room available in the hostel, as well as a TV room.
Otherwise, it is a fine college to study in, and the teaching staff is very good and well experienced.

Dislike

The placement is very bad. Fake companies visited a company this year named HDFC and it was NIIT. Basically, they were asking for a deposit of 100000. Despite that, there is no placement. Its a very backward college in the name of placements.
The fees are affordable for every caste category as this is a semi-government college.
The worst thing about the hostel is that the morning breakfast is not included in the hostel fee; one has to pay extra for it.
One negative thing that I personally think is connected with this college is the student council election, which is held every year here and creates a political environment on the college campus for nearly one and a half months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

maths was a subject that always challenges me to study hard so for that I chose to follow a career in mathematics. in my college, there are 60 students and there are 10 teachers in the math department so a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio is there All the teachers are very good in the field of teaching and all are highly qualified most of the teachers have qualified major all India levels exams like NET and GATE. and some have also completed their Ph.D. in mathematics. Exams are held at the end of every semester and I can tell that it is not very easy to get a pass. For a good score, you have to study continuously and keep preparing for doing better in exams.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Remarks:

I got admission on the basis of my graduation marks cut off. From the college website, I filled out the admission form and then after verification of my documents, I got admission. All the data was available on the college website for the students who want admission.

I choose this course because I have an interest in mathematics. The student ratio is 50:50. The teachers are well qualified. Most of the teachers are PhD holders and the teaching method is good. The exams were semester based and you have to study regularly for passing the exams

It is based upon your graduation marks and you should be cleared your graduation for admission to MSc. You can find the examination form on the college site. I think for the admission process the site can be more smooth
