What students say about SIWS College

Likes

  • The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology course is very good for gaining knowledge and practical skills. The practical labs are good. However, the institute does not take any research initiatives. In SIWS College, there are separate labs for each subject.
  • College does provide internships. The overall internship experience is good, and good companies are coming.
  • If students were good and doing better, then teachers also give references to companies.
  • The faculty encourages students to make the most of the services arranged by the college for their own benefit.
  • If we talk about the annual fest, it is very good. It is the biggest fest compared to Khalsa College, Ruia College, Guru Nanak College, etc.
  • The college area is very good and all the primary needs nearby are available within 5 minutes.
  • My college is SIWS Matunga; it is one of the best colleges in Mumbai. I completed my admission online.

Dislike

  • I chose this course because I am from the science field and I want to pursue a BSc only for that reason.
  • The company came for a campus interview; dont know the reason behind it. We had to go to other colleges for interviews.
  • The college lacks in communication and bonds with companies, which can put a heavy burden on students.
  • The college canteen was really bad; they didnt give proper food, and what was available wasnt even hygienic.
  • Management work is very slow because all employees are government employees, so you cannot expect fast work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and faculty members can vary greatly depending on the institution and program you are considering. Generally, the curriculum will be designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their chosen field of study. It may include a mix of lectures, labs, discussions, and practical experiences, such as internships or research projects. The faculty members are the people responsible for teaching the courses and providing guidance and mentorship to students. They are usually experts in their respective fields and may have extensive experience in research, industry, or academia. Ideally, they will be passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping their students succeed. To get a sense of the course curriculum and faculty members, you can look at the program's website, read reviews from current or former students, and attend open houses or information sessions. Additionally, you may want to reach out to current students or faculty member

Remarks:

The admission process can vary depending on the educational institution and the program you are applying for. Generally, the process involves submitting an application along with any required documents, such as academic transcripts, test scores, letters of recommendation, and essays. Some institutions may also require an interview or an audition as part of the application process. If the program you are applying for requires an entrance exam, such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT, you will need to register for the exam and take it on the scheduled date. The exam scores are usually submitted along with your application. The cut-off for admission depends on a number of factors, including the number of available seats in the program, the number of applicants, and the competitiveness of the applicant pool. Generally, institutions will set a minimum requirement for test scores, GPA, and other factors, but meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission. It's important to research
