The Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing is a pioneer institute for nursing education in India and the South-East Asian region. The nursing college offers basic and higher education programmes. Established in the year 1946, the college is financed by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and affiliated with the University of Delhi of Nursing.

Course 1 B.Sc.

  • Only for women candidate
  • Intermediate graduates (10+2) with subjects : 
    • English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
  • Selection on merit basis

Course 2 Masters in Nursing

  • Bachelorette degree in B.Sc(Nursing)
  • 2 years of experience in Nursing
  • Admission on the basis of : 
    • Graduation marks
    • Selection test

Course 3 PhD in Nursing

  • Masters / M.phil degree holders
  • The candidate should be from D.U. or any other university
  • Min 50% are the qualifying marks

Eligibility for Foreign Candidates

Three seats (5%) for the foreign nationals will be reserved. These students are required to submit a certificate indicating proficiency in English language. With this, they must also submit a certificate of good conduct from the educational institute last attended.
