Ph.D. (Engineering) From CIMFR, Dhanbad

M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc Tech. or equivalent degree in Mining/Chemical/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Civil/Environmental Engineering/Geology/ Applied Geology/ Engineering Geology/ Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics/Electronics/Instrumentation/ Biotechnology/Fuel/Mineral Engg.) with a good academic record and a valid CSIR/ UGC or equivalent national fellowship

For admission to integrated M.Tech + Ph.D.research program in Engineering and Ph.D. in Science and Engineering. 

Candidates with B.E./B.Tech in the relevant subjects with a minimum of 70% marks can apply for the integrated program.

Minimum eligibility for Ph.D. in engineering is a master's degree with 8.5 or equivalent aggregate.

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores in GATE/ NET/ JRF/ National fellowship and will be called for the further round of interview/ aptitude test. In addition to their academic performance and depending on the vacancies, final selection of the candidates will be based on performance in aptitude test/ personal interview.

• B.E. / B.Tech or M.Sc. with CGPA 8.5 / 85% Marks and/or Ranked first in University + National level fellowship.
