Ph.D. (Bioinformatics) From Shobhit University, School of Biological Engineering and Sciences, Meerut

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

• Any candidate who has passed the Master’s examination in the concerned subject with a score of not less than 55% marks in aggregate, or have appeared in the final year examination of Master’s degree in the subject concerned, shall also be eligible to appear for the Ph.D. admission.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate in relevant field of Engineering / Technology of a University or its equivalent, with at least five years of experience in Public Sector Undertaking / Research and Development Organizations / Private Industries / Service Sectors / Educational Institutions / any other State and Central Government Organizations.

Important Note:

Applicants who have valid score in any of the relevant eligibility tests like JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR), GATE, GPAT & SLET of the State, may be exempted from the Entrance Test, as per University norms.

Admission through Entrance test conducted by Shobhit University, followed by personal interview. 4Candidates who have qualified in GATE/NET/ SLET/ UGC/ CSIR (JRF) examination will be exempted from the University entrance test, however they will have to appear for personal interview only.

Fee Structure:

Registration Fee: Rs.10,000/- Once at the time of Admission

Academic Fee: Rs.50,000/- per Semester (First to Sixth Semester) *Rs.25,000/- per Semester (After Sixth Semester every additional Semester till the completion, if applicable)

Thesis Evaluation Fee: Rs.25,000/-

Resubmission/Re-exam Fee: Rs.15,000/- If Applicable

Administrative Charges: Rs.1200/- Per Annum

Refundable security: Rs.10,000/ once at the time of admission
