Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS), Pune was established in the year 2004 and is a Constituent College of Symbiosis International University. The flagship course offered by SCMS is BBA. The present intake for Indian students is 240 and for International students’ intake is 60.

Admissions to the BBA program are offered to candidates having passed 10+2 (any stream) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
Selection of candidates shall be based on merit ranks drawn from cumulative scores of SET, Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
The institute provides 5% relaxation for reserved category candidates.
It is mandatory for every candidate to register for SET in online mode and also communicate their choice of course and institute.
An amount of INR 1750/- (non-refundable) has to be paid against application fees via Credit Card/Net Banking/Demand Draft/Cash/Indian Bank Net Banking.

SCMS Pune BBA Eligibility

Passed XII in any discipline from any recognized Board/Council/University with minimum 50% marks for general category (45% marks for students of SC and ST category)
Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test of our center.
Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)

SCMS Pune BBA Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates shall be strictly based on their performance in SET and PI-WAT.

It is mandatory to attend all components/tests of PI-WAT/ST-PI to be eligible for admission to any UG programs.
Only candidates who attend all components/tests of the selection process (PI-WAT/ST-PI) shall be considered as eligible for the generation of merit/wait/reject list.
Candidates who remain absent for any one of the components/tests will be considered as ineligible for the selection process of UG degree programs of SIU.

The candidates must submit the necessary documents at the time of PI-WAT.

Personal Interaction (PI) - It is a personal interaction/interview of a candidate with a panel of experts from Industries/Academics. That covers general awareness, extracurricular activities, academics and specific fields of interest, communication – skills and overall personality.

Written Ability Test (WAT) - The Test includes one PAT (Picture Association Test) and writing a short essay on a given topic (of general nature) as well as answering the questions related to the given topic.

How to Apply for SCMS Pune?

All aspirants applying for the BBA course must appear for SET and PIWAT. For this, the candidates must get themselves enrolled on the official website of the SET Entrance Exam.

To apply for SET, the candidates must visit the official website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test.

Candidates must complete the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) online registration process.
Candidates who wish to appear for the SET can apply for two subjects i.e. one subject each from morning and evening session.
Login using the registration credentials and proceed with the application form.

Admission:

The admission gets processed through SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test), followed by a round of GD/PI. This year onwards, the college has started 2 slots for the admission process, starting in April and the other one in June.
