Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) offers admission to the 4.5 years MBBS program with a total intake of 114 students. The institute has closed applications for MBBS 2022 admission on January 23, 2022. ANIIMS MBBS provisional merit list will be released on January 25 and the final merit list will be declared on January 28, 2022.

NEET-2021 qualified students will be admitted through All India quota counselling and state quota counselling. Out of the total approved 114 seats, 17 seats of the All India quota will be filled by online counseling by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), and the rest of the 97 seats will be admitted under state quota (10 EWS plus 87 Category seats). The 1st round of counseling will be held on January 30 & 31, 2022.

ANIIMS, Port Blair MBBS Admission 2023

Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) offers Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course of 4 ½ years duration followed by one year compulsory rotatory internship. Candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually at 10+2 level examination and scored minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology taken together are eligible to appear in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) examination.

The course has an intake of 100 students.
Admission to the eligible candidates is done on the basis of marks scored in NEET-UG through counseling.
There is a relaxation of 5% for General-Physically Handicapped candidates and 10% for SC, ST, OBC, PH-SC, ST, OBC category students.
10 seats in the course are reserved for foreign national students.
Applicant must be born on or before January 01, 2001.

The application form along with the brochure shall be obtained from the college office upon payment of INR 1000. Application forms can also be downloaded from the official website and submitted in person or through post upon completion

Completed application forms should be submitted along with the demand draft (DD) of the required application fee and supporting documents. DD should be drawn in favor of “Director, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS)” payable at Port Blair.
