Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College is a public institution established in 2017 by the Government of Haryana in the memory of Kalpana Chawla, the first Indian woman to go to space.

KCGMC is affiliated to Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana. Admission is offered in UG course- MBBS only with an overall of 100 seats.

As per the MCI guidelines, the college includes Preclinical, Para clinical and Clinical Departments to facilitate learning for students.

Admissions are based upon entrance exam and merit. Admission applications must be submitted online on the official website of KCGMC and also for NEET Counselling separately.

Students applying for MBBS admissions must have passed 10+2 exams with 50% aggregate in PCB to be eligible. Also they must qualify for NEET entrance.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 level examinations from a recognized board.
Students from Science stream with an aggregate of 50% marks in PCB would be eligible.

Selection Criteria

Students are admitted based on scores in NEET followed by counselling.
Candidates must also fulfil the eligibility criteria to be eligible for admissions to KCGMC.

Counselling of NEET for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in Offline mode.The counselling will consist of these steps.

KCGMC reality

Admission:

To get admission to an MBBS course in a government medical college, students should pass his/her 12th class from PCB with a minimum percentage of 60%. and then after it, students have to clear cut-off marks in the NEET exam. application form for this exam is available on NTA official website. The application fee is about 1200 rs for General/OBC and about 800 for st/sc aspirants. Application dates are announced on the website. for this exam appropriate reservation is given to the eligible candidates. there is no need to change in the admission process as this is very simple.
