Yenepoya Dental College with a NIRF rank of 20 among the top dental colleges of the country as per 2020 is a professional college located in Mangalore, Karnataka. YDC is one of the foremost dental institutions in India. It was established in 1999. 

YDC is the center of academic activities. It offers all preclinical and Para-clinical departments, a library, lecture halls, and examination hall. Currently, the Yenepoya Medical College lays out Undergraduate programs, Postgraduate programs, Postgraduate diplomas, and various Add- on courses.

Admission to Yenepoya Dental College Undergraduate Course Admission is Entrance based done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by CBSE for admission to BDS.

YDC Postgraduate Course Admission is Entrance based done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) conducted by National Board of Examinations for admission to MDS courses

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi will then hold online counseling on the basis of NEET results, and allotment of seats is done based on the Merit Rank List.

  • Library- The Yenepoya Central University Library was established in 1992. Access to its collection through the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is available. YDC Library offers an area with 480 seating capacity. The library has 39,000+ books collections, 300+ subscribed print journals, and e-resources.
  • Lecture and Examination halls- There are 3 Lecture Halls with a seating capacity of 180 all located at the 2nd Basement of this Dental College. They are provided with amazing seating arrangements and the latest audiovisual features. The lecture halls have also been equipped with facilities for E-learning.
  • Auditorium- The dental college also has an auditorium hall on the 5th floor of the building, provided with excellent Audio as well as visual aids with a seating capacity of 300 seats.
  • Museum- It was established in 1999. The Museum of Dental Materials is a unique education medium for providing dental education to the students with all the dental material and dental equipment.
  • Laboratories- Various laboratories for different subjects are available with all the important lab accessories and equipment.
