MIT Arts, Commerce and Science College (MITACSC), was established in 2007 under the aegis of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER) Pune, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

MITACSC Placements

Training & Placement Cell of the college brings about the synergy between the students and their mentors, who have exposure and access to the industrial avenues. It is actively involved in the placement activities and regular personal interactions to reach at the ground level to understand and realize problems of the students.

  • The placement cell gives priority to train the students for the placement process. It focuses on the interview techniques, aptitude and self-presentation skills. This training is imparted to all the pre-final year students.
  • MITACSC ensure that every student is trained according to the industry standards before they appear for campus recruitment. It also ensure that every student is counseled properly in regards to choosing career options.

Policy for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Scholarship

This scholarship is basically for Economically Weaker Sections students. The needy, poor and meritorious students will receive support in the form of concession in fees. This scholarship is available for all the students subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria specified by the respective authorities.

The students applying to this scholarship should produce an income certificate from the Executive Magistrate to the effect that he/she belongs to the Economically Backward category or its equivalent document.

Merit Scholarship Policy for First Year Students of All Programs

This scholarship provides 20% of college fees waiver for the first year students only, subject to fulfillment of below mentioned terms & conditions by the student, updated from time to time by the College in this regard.

This scholarship will be awarded to the number of students in proportionate to sanctioned intake and not more than 05 % of the approved intake in the respective program. This scholarship shall be awarded to the eligible students after interview selection.

  • Library: The library has a vast collection of books in areas of civil, computing services, electronics, mathematics, statistics, administration, commerce, arts, physics, chemistry, and literature. 75 Magazines and Journals, and ebooks are now subscribed to the library. The library is a participating member of INFLIBNET, N-LIST, and DELNET.
  • Sports Complex: Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Tennis Court, Volleyball facilities available at the campus.
  • Cafeteria: A spacious and neatly maintained student cafeteria that follows the highest levels of hygiene.
  • Gym & Indoor games: The college also has indoor games such as Table tennis, chess and carrom available for recreational use. It also has a gym.
