Government Law College, Kozhikode Scholarships

The Government of Kerala offers many scholarships to deserving students. Given below are a few scholarships offered to the students:

  • Post-Matric Scholarship For Minorities: A candidate who belongs to the minority category and has a family income of less that 2 lakhs is eligible for this scholarship. The candidate will receive an amount equivalent to the tuition fee.
  • State Merit Scholarship: A candidate who is studying in their first year of an undergraduate course in a course recognized by the Government of Kerala having secured a minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination and with family income less than 1 Lakh shall receive Rs 1,250 per annum. 
  • Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship: The scholarship is given to candidates in the belonging to the backward community who have scored more than 50% in their qualifying examination are eligible for this scholarship. The candidates must be in their first year of an undergraduate course in a college recognized by the Government of Kerala. The candidates will be awarded Rs 10000/- per annum.

  • Hostel: The college has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The wardens and the other staff are very professional and are responsible for the functioning of the hostel. They are spacious and beautifully built. The hostels have space for more than 100 students. They are cleaned every day and have facilities like bathrooms, rooms, water supply, a mess. The hostels are supervised by the security personnel at all times.
