CSI Institute of Legal Studies, popularly known as CSIILS is a private law college located in Cheruvarakonam, Thiruvananthapuram. Founded in the year 2013, the college is affiliated to Kerala State University and approved by the Bar Council of India as well as the Government of Kerala. The primary objective of the institution is to impart quality research-oriented legal education to enable rural students to expand the horizon of their legal knowledge.

CSI Institute of Legal Studies Admissions

Selection criteria

Students seeking admission in the college must fulfil the eligibility criteria as per the required courses. The college takes its admissions through KLEE counselling as well as through management quota. This section will discuss the admission procedure via both the means in detail.

KLEE Counseling

KLEE (Kerala Law Entrance Examination) is conducted by CEE (Commissioner of Entrance Examination), Kerala on an annual basis for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programs offered by law colleges in the state of Kerala. According to the tentative exam schedule, the application form for KLEE 2021 is supposed to be available in the 2nd week of March, while the exam is supposed to be held in the last week of March. Post examination, online counselling is done for successful students.

How to apply?

  • Visit the official website of CEE, Kerala “http://www.cee-kerala.org/” to register yourself.
  • Once on the website, click on the new registration option.
  • The registration form will open.
  • Now fill in the necessary details.
  • Once successfully registered, you will get your application number.
  • Now go to the KLEE 2021 application form available on the website.
  • Fill in all the necessary details and submit the form.

Fee Payment

Direct Admission​

Candidates can also get admission at CSI Institute of Legal Studies through management seats as 50% of the seats are reserved for management quota. The students can get the application form for the same from the college office at Cheruvarakonam by submitting a requisition letter along with a demand draft drawn in the favour of the principal. The cost of application for general category students is Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 for SC/ST students.

The following documents are required to be produced at the college during the time of admission.

  • Allotment memo issued by the admission commissioner.
  • SSLC/10th Standard certificate for proof of DOB.
  • Plus 2/12th Standard certificate.
  • Marksheet and qualifying examination (plus two).
  • Transfer certificate and conduct certificate from the institution last attended.
  • In a case where the candidate claims any sort of reservation/privileges, the documents to prove such claims.
  • Certificate in proof of OBC/OEC/SC/ST status obtained from the concerned authority.
