IIIT Raichur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

For eligibility to BTech, the candidate must have cleared their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
They should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following-Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology in their 10+2
The candidate must score 75% aggregate in 10+2 for general category students or 65% aggregate if belonging to reserved category

Admission to the course will be based on the mark secured in the JEE Mains.

How to Apply for IIIT Raichur?

For registering, the candidate should visit the official site of the NTA National Testing Agency.
Create a login id and password.
Fill in all the details like name, contact number, address, date of birth, etc.
Upload scanned images of passport size photographs and signature of the candidate and signature of father/mother or guardian.
Pay the application fee through net banking, credit card, debit card, Paytm or UPI.
Take a print of the application form once the entire procedure has been completed.

The candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the JEE Main entrance examination.

After checking the All India Rank on the NTA website, the candidate shall check his rank with the cutoff list released by the institute.
If the candidate’s rank matches with the one released by the college, the candidate can register on the official website of JOSAA.
The candidate can then fill the choices and lock the options.
A mock seat allotment takes place after which the final results of the allotment are released.
The candidate can then book their seat by making the payment for locking the seat.

Ques. What is the fee structure of the course?

Ans. The Btech costs around INR 150,000 excluding Medical Insurance Premium, Dining charges, Electricity and Water charges etc. If the student plans to stay in the hostel premises during vacations, they have to pay INR 1500 every month for the same.

Ques. How is the infrastructure of IIIT Raichur?

Ans. The campus of the institute is yet under construction and the students will share the IIT Hyderabad campus for the initial years until the campus of the institute is completely ready.

Ques. Does the college provide hostel facility to the students?

Ans. Yes, the college aims to provide hostel facilities to its students. However, as of now, the students will share the IITH campus which is well-equipped with all the facilities like Wi-Fi enabled campus, recreation room, dance room, music room, TV room, etc. along with Solar water heaters and solar lighting.
