Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  • Obtained valid score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian

Course Details

The K.K. Wagh Education Society offers AICTE approved M.E. program that is also accredited grade ‘A’ by NAAC. The program is available in four different engineering disciplines i.e 

  • Computer Science Engineering
  • Civil (Structural) Engineering
  • Electronics and Telecommunications (VLSI and Embedded Systems)
  • Electrical (Power Systems).

 The degree is awarded by Savitribai Phule Pune University and total annual intake is 72.

M.E. Eligibility 

  • Applicants should have passed a duly recognized Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering and Technology discipline with at least 50% aggregate score (45% for reserved category candidates).
  • Qualified GATE. However, sponsored candidates with at least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience with a registered firm can apply without valid GATE score.

M.E. Selection Procedure

  • Primarily seat allocation is done through CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
  • Shortlisting for admission for institute-level seats is done on the basis of GATE score of applicants for vacant seats after all rounds of admission under CAP are over.
  • Candidates have to select the college at the time of counseling.
  • Based on the rank obtained and college selected, seat allotment will be done
  • Selected candidates will be informed through a call.
  • All the selected candidates need to report at the college for further admission process along with valid documents.
