Note: QIAMS provides scholarships to deserving students pursuing Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Journalism.

QIAMS has a placement cell that provides various training programs to bridge the gap between academics and industries. The institute arranges internships at various media outlets. The cell ensures that students are placed in various media industries according to their skillset: print, broadcast television, digital and social media, as well as NGOs.
