In this college exam paper, the level is very good, which means the papers are not lengthy, but all are conceptually challenging. Therefore, to pass semester exams, studying should be a priority.
Projects are assigned to us, and one significant project must be submitted by the end of the semester.
There are many MNCs that come to hire students, such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Sonalika, and many more.
The University also has tie-ups with different banks, so students can easily get educational loans.
The Fresher party and Farewell party are two of the best parties in the year, which are celebrated with great grandeur.
But there are no facilities or hostel rooms available for first-year students at the college.
I miss those friends, like teachers in our college, they were very supportive towards us.

Dislike

There are not proper facilities for extracurricular activities. The reason behind this is that its a government university, so the college doesnt take curricular activities seriously

Decent placements with a great environment to study and socialize.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements on campus. And go for internships and Training. Not big tech companies visit our campus only small startups and mass hiring companies like TCS, Infosys etc type of companies hire students. Small startups like josh technologies, bebo, chemic etc come to campus for hiring candidates. The highest package is around 30 lacs but that is off-campus campus highest package is 10 lac and the lowest package is 2.5 lac. in cs and generally 100 % of students get placed but in ECE and MECH placements are very low. Plan to go abroad.

Remarks:

I was admitted through jee mains score. Students can register themselves at the JAC Chandigarh site for selection rounds. Registration fees are Rupees 2500 and differ in the reservation. JAC Chandigarh portal opens generally after jee advanced results. cutoffs are not high generally you could get CSE or IT in 60k to 80k. The admission process is smooth but sometimes students get problems with fee submission but that can be resolved.

Uiet Hoshiarpur review abour the college

Placement Experience:

Students here are getting placed as soon as they reach the fourth year basically there is a special training and placement cell which helps in the placement of the students also it has improved the overall placement record of the campus and basically, in CSE branch almost 98% students are getting place every year and the overall campus placement record is around 85% the highest package is offered by the Josh technologies group of around 17.85 lakhs per year and the average package of CSE company is around 8 to 9 lakhs per year

Remarks:

First of all, you have to give jee mains examination to appear in the JAC Chandigarh counselling. Jac Chandigarh gives admission to mainly 5 colleges. Uiet Hoshiarpur is the regional centre of uiet Chandigarh and a branch of Panjab University. All the details of the counselling process are given on the website of JAC counselling. Reservation here is based on all India quota that is no reservations. You just get relaxation in ranks here.
